Chateau Plince Pomerol 2018

Blended of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Plince offers up notions of espresso, cedar chest, menthol and tar over a core of preserved plums and baked blackberries with a waft of bouquet garni. The medium to full-bodied palate is jam-packed with black fruit preserves and savory layers, framed by grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long with a minerally lift

Château PLINCE in POMEROL has been in the property of the MOREAU family for more than a century, and during this time, it has managed to keep its authenticity while taking advantage of modern technology to constantly improve the quality of its wines.

Located east of Libourne, Château PLINCE property extends over a single-block domain of around ten hectares and this being Pomerol, they grow mostly Merlot along with a small amount of Cabernet Franc.
